Ingredients
- 4 Linguica sausages
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat a grill or stovetop grill pan over medium heat.
- Grill the Linguica sausages for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and nicely browned.
- In a separate pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion, minced garlic, and sliced bell peppers. Cook until the vegetables are softened and slightly caramelized.
- Slice the Linguica sausages and add them to the pan with the vegetables. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until everything is well combined and heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the Linguica sausage and vegetable mixture hot, as a main dish or with Portuguese rolls.
